Brian Dean, Senior Vice President, Business Operations and Strategy
Brian joined Yelp in 2012 tasked with building out an internal data analytics and insights function, and in 2020 he became Yelp’s Senior Vice President of Business Operations and Strategy. Along the way he has built cross-functional partnerships across the company to establish and monitor operational KPIs, unearth data-driven insights, and accelerate revenue growth by recommending and executing operational and product optimizations. Prior to Yelp, Brian worked as a management consultant at Oliver Wyman and before that as a structural engineer at Walter P. Moore. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering and Economics from the University of Virginia and a M.S. in Structural Engineering and Geomechanics from Stanford University.
